4. What types of desk lamps do you offer?
We offer LED desk lamps, architect/clamp lamps, touch control lamps, and magnifying lamps. All lamps comply with UL 153 (Standard for Portable Electric Luminaires), covering electrical safety, stability, thermal protection, and mechanical hazards. Smart lamps comply with FCC Part 15 (FCC ID for wireless models). Use only recommended bulbs.

5. What types of flashlights do you offer?
We offer LED flashlights, rechargeable flashlights, tactical flashlights, keychain lights, and headlamps. All flashlights comply with ANSI/NEMA FL1 (flashlight basic performance standard) for lumen output, beam distance, runtime, impact resistance, and water resistance (IPX rating). Products with lithium batteries comply with UN38.3 for transport, UL 1642 for cell safety, and 49 CFR 173.185 for shipping.

6. What types of night lights do you offer?
We offer plug-in night lights, LED night lights, motion sensor lights, and dusk-to-dawn lights. All night lights comply with UL 1786 (the specific safety standard for nightlights), which includes requirements for electrical safety, drop testing, temperature limits (case temperature ≤90°C), fire resistance (UL94 V-2 or better), and moisture resistance.

7. Are your products safety certified?

Product Applicable Standards
Desk Lamps UL 153, FCC Part 15 (smart models), DOE energy standards
Flashlights ANSI/NEMA FL1, UL 1642 (batteries), UN38.3, 49 CFR 173.185

8. What is UL 153?
UL 153 is the U.S. safety standard for portable electric luminaires (portable lamps). It covers electrical safety, stability (tip-over prevention), thermal protection, and mechanical hazards. All portable desk lamps sold in the U.S. must be UL Listed by an NRTL.

9. What is UL 1786?
UL 1786 is the specific safety standard for nightlights (direct plug-in). Key requirements include:

  • Electrical safety (leakage current ≤0.5mA, dielectric withstand)

  • Mechanical strength (drop test from 1.5 meters)

  • Temperature limits (case temperature ≤90°C)

  • Fire resistance (UL94 V-2 or better)

  • Moisture resistance (humidity testing)

10. What is the CPSC and what are my rights?
